For shopping you can find not much choices. You can go to Langkawi Fair which is the biggest shopping local mall now. You can find a good supermarket here and much much more shops where you can buy nice souvenirs, furniture etc. Most of the good quality and brand shops are generally here. There is also Langkawi Parade at the west entrance of this town. It’s the poorer version of Langkawi Fair. But it has a large supermarket at the bottom floor to purchase lots of goods. Besides these malls you can go to Trimula to buy mobile phones, some electronics and house accessories like curtains, window blinds.
Food in Langkawi is usually good. There are a lot of choices. You can find almost any sort of cousine here; Thai, Japanese, Malay, Chinese, Indian, Italian and even Russian. Because of its touristic state, island has very good high quality restaurants. But for long term, you need to read where to buy goods to cook all on your own. Other than buying from markets, there is a drenched market in Padang Matsirat that’s close to Langkawi Airport terminal. Here you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables as well as fish, crabs and lobster.

MIAMI, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Defending champion Miami Heat booked the NBA Finals berth for the third consecutive season after beating Indiana Pacers 99-76 in game seven of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday.
Miami duo LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined 43 points and 17 rebounds, including six offensive rebounds from Wade, to award Heat a chance to defend its title.
James experienced his fourth "Game 7" battle in his 10-season career. He staged another 30-plus show, as he did twice in his previous three Game 7s.
"I dreamed about opportunities like this as a kid to have a Game 7," said James, "no matter at home or on the road.
"I have had multiple dreams about it. To see a dream become a reality, I'm just very blessed."
Wade, who struggled in his first six games in this series, made a perfect big time come back through the game. He forced Paul George, the best scorer of the Pacers, to a 7-point-and-6-foul game with his solid defense, and at the same time bagged 21 points on his own, the best for Wade since the former Finals MVP got 21 from Game 2 of the first round series against Milwaukee Bucks.
"Moments like this can define your career," said Wade.
"Situations when everyone is counting you out, you're looking down, to see how you respond."
Heat became the first team to reach the NBA Finals in three consecutive post seasons since the 2008-2010 Los Angeles Lakers. They also became the first Eastern Conference team to win the conference title three straight times since the Chicago Bulls did the same in 1996-1998.

The Heat created the largest margin of victory in a Game 7 in franchise history in front of a sellout attendance of 20025. The Pacers were able to lead the Heat 21-19 in the first quarter, but the host team delivered a strong second quarter as they outscored the Pacers 33-16 to establish a 15-point lead at the end of the first half.
The Pacers went no better in the third quarter, and the Heat extended the lead to 21 points before the final period. The Pacers tried to come back in the fourth quarter, only to see the Heat push the lead as far as 28 points.
"They are disappointed," said Indiana coach Frank Vogel about the away team's locker room atmosphere after the game.
"What I told them is to keep their head extremely high. We accomplished a great deal. No one in the world gave us a chance to get this far."
