Zhang， now vice chairman and secretary general of CFA， joined the other three male Asian candidates to run for the two new Asian seats in the world soccer's governing body.


According to the reform plan of FIFA， the FIFA Council， formerly the FIFA Executive Committee， will consist of 37 members. As a result， Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is given three additional seats along with the original four. The third new seat is designated to a female member from AFC.

Sony Pictures on Monday withdrew a movie starring Kevin Spacey from a Los Angeles film festival following sexual misconduct allegations against the actor, but said it was going ahead with a planned U.S. movie theatre release in December.

The film was due to have a red carpet world premiere at the American Film Institute's (AFI) annual festival in Los Angeles on Nov. 16.
